Energy, grown locally.
We turn Napier grass grown by local farmers into clean compressed bio gas and organic manure, giving fuel and fertility from the same fields.
A local answer to a national push
India's GOBARdhan Central Sector Scheme, which brings the earlier SATAT programme under one roof, backs compressed bio gas as a cleaner alternative to diesel and LPG, with an administered price and capital assistance for new plants. Dasaradha Green Energies is building a 15 tonne-per-day plant with a Fermented Organic Manure unit in Srikakulam district.
Most bio gas plants run on waste. Ours runs on Napier grass, a crop farmers can grow reliably year-round, often on land that would otherwise sit idle between seasons. The EPC contract is signed with an experienced CBG plant contractor, and the project is being developed alongside Andhra Pradesh's support for bioenergy in the state.
Compressed bio gas
Purified, compressed methane: a renewable substitute for diesel and LPG that works with existing gas equipment.
Organic manure
The nutrient-rich residue left after digestion. Part goes back to the farms supplying the plant, and the rest is sold as organic fertiliser.
Lower emissions
Replacing diesel and LPG with bio gas cuts the carbon footprint of the transport, industry and households it supplies.
Five steps from field to fuel
A closed loop: what leaves the farm as grass returns to it as manure.
Grow and harvest
Napier grass is grown on farmland around the plant and cut in cycles through the year.
Feed the digesters
Chopped grass goes into sealed digesters, where microbes break it down without oxygen.
Capture the biogas
The digesters release raw biogas, roughly 55–60% methane with CO₂ and trace gases.
Purify and compress
CO₂ and moisture are removed and the gas is compressed for supply.
Return to the land
What's left becomes organic manure for the fields the grass came from.
The manure from step five goes back to the same farms that supply the grass in step one.
Built for real, local demand
Bio gas replaces diesel or LPG wherever they're used today, with no new infrastructure.
Transport and fleets
A cleaner alternative to diesel for local commercial vehicles.
Industry
A stable, locally sourced fuel for process heat and manufacturing.
Homes and piped gas
A renewable option alongside conventional LPG for households.
Farmers
The supply base the whole plant is built around.
A steady buyer for your crop
Napier grass grows fast, tolerates poor soil and can be cut several times a year, and Dasaradha Green Energies is the buyer for it. We're bringing farmland around Srikakulam into contract farming, working directly with local farmers. Supplying the plant gives you a standing purchase agreement instead of chasing a market price at harvest, plus organic manure back for your fields.
- Several harvests a year from the same land, not one seasonal crop
- A committed buyer at the plant gate
- Organic manure returned to your fields as part of the agreement
- Grows on land that may not suit other cash crops
Organic fertiliser, straight from the digester
Every tonne of grass digested for gas leaves behind nutrient-rich organic manure. Part goes back to the farms that supply the plant; the rest is available in bulk for agri-input distributors and cooperatives, or direct to farms looking for a chemical-free soil input. Supply terms and packaging are being finalised ahead of commissioning.
- An organic alternative to synthetic fertiliser
- Bulk supply for distributors and farmer cooperatives
- Direct-to-farm sale for smaller needs
- Consistent supply from the plant's ongoing digestion cycle
Why this company carries my father's name
Dasaradha Green Energies is named in memory of my father, Dasaradha. This plant is my tribute to him: a business rooted in north Andhra that grows its energy in local fields and shares the value it creates with the farmers who grow it.
Every tonne of gas we produce will begin as a crop a local farmer chose to grow, and the manure will go back to the same land. That is the kind of enterprise I want his name to stand for.
